The Riverdale Hall Hotel is situated in some of the most enjoyable and accessible walking countryside in England. Visitors can enjoy a gentle stroll through beautiful countryside or walk the Pennine Way or Hadrian's Wall footpaths, whatever your preference the Riverdale Hall Hotel provides a comfortable and welcoming place to stay and offers a wealth of other sporting activities.

The Pennine Way

The Pennine Way crosses the North Tyne Bridge and the Dunterley Fell which you can see from the Riverdale Hall Hotel. We offer a free pick-up and drop-off service for Pennine Way and Hadrian's Wall walkers.

Northumberland National Park

Hareshaw Lynn, the Lonesome Pine and the Black Middens (Sidwood Reivers walk) are our favourites of many walks to be found in the Northumberland National Park. Organised walks for the hotel are a regular feature.

Kielder Water and Kielder Forest

Visit Kielder Water and Kielder Forest and you will find a dozen or more walks of varying difficulty.
