Self-catering Apartments

For those who want the facilities of the hotel but prefer their own space, we have self-catering accommodation within the grounds of the Riverdale Hall Hotel. We also have self-catering apartments available in the nearby town of Bellingham, only 600 yards from the hotel.

Riverdale Court

You can stay in one of our purpose built stone apartments just 30 yards to the south of the main hall.

The two first floor apartments have balconies overlooking the cricket field, the North Tyne River and bridge, and Dunterley Fell (part of the Pennine Way). These apartments sleep 6 and have an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms with twin beds and two bathrooms, with both bath and shower. Two extra beds are available in the large lounge (average size 18' x 15'). Double beds are available on request.

The two ground floor apartments are similar, but with one bedroom, one bathroom, disabled access and garden area with patio.

Riverdale Cottage

This ground floor two/three bedroom cottage is joined to the west of the main hall, only a few yards from the indoor swimming pool. Although a self-catering cottage, its location is also particularly attractive to those wishing to take advantage of having the hotel's facilities on the doorstep.

The cottage sleeps 6 and comprises of, one double bedroom and one twin/double bedroom. These bedrooms have use of a shared bathroom, with both bath and shower. The cottage has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area and also benefits from its own conservatory.
A third double/twin bedroom enjoys an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom can also be let independently making a two bedroom cottage sleeping 4.

West View

Situated in the village square 600 yards from the main hotel, West View is located in a listed stone building in the square of the small market town of Bellingham. Also in the square is the main food store, butchers, public house and the post office; shops and banks are nearby.

The apartment sleeps 8 and comprises of four twin bedrooms, bathroom, shower room, kitchen and lounge. West View also benefits from a patio/decked area at the rear of the property. Parking in the square is free. Please contact us for further information on the apartment.

Guests staying at the West View have free use of the indoor pool and sauna, fishing and all other hotel facilities.
